Refuse Collection Center Hours
Located at 820 W. Heath Road   989-685-2208

If you need to purchase replacement Collection Center ID Cards they are $5.00 each. Also, if you are a new property owner, call Carol at 989-685-8047 and I will mail 2 cards at no charge.

The collection center is for property owners only.

Note: If a holiday falls on a day the collection center is usually open, please call 685-2208 first to see if they are open or not.
Fridays 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sundays 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In addition to weekly refuse collection, residents now have the opportunity to recycle at the collection center. Recycling is offered at no additional charge to our residents.  We are accepting #1 & #2 plastics (make sure to remove caps, they are not recyclable) , glass, tin & aluminum containers, paper, magazines, newspaper and cardboard (clean).  Check out this list of accepted items & read the “do’s and don’ts” for successful recycling.
 

NOTE:   Every spring Rose Township schedules a free dump day. The scheduled date will be posted at the collection center.

Clean-up day services are available only to residents. Proof of residency may be requested.

The following rules apply:

1. No building materials, fencing, brush or yard waste accepted.

2. Freon must be removed from all appliances before bringing to collection center. We will not accept if they contain Freon.

3. There is a limit of 8 (passenger car) tires and 2 truck tires at no charge per residence.  Tractor and heavy equipment tires will be accepted at the regular price of $3.00 per inch of tire width.

4. Small items need to be boxed or bagged for easy removal, they cannot be loose.
